We already:
- Serve filtered water in all conferences rather than bottled water
- Have signed up the 10:10 campaign, which is aiming to cut 10% of the UK’s emissions in 2010.
- Have recycling bins in all conference rooms
- Use seasonal and local produce where possible for buffets and dinners
- Encourage delegates to use public transport
- Use recycled stationery and pencils in our conference rooms

The National Railway Museum is spread across a large site, split in two with two main entrances for guests to arrive at. There is an underpass which seamlessly connects the two areas. The Museum has an outside BBQ area which is available for corporate summer parties up to 150 guests and which also doubles as a café in the summer.

By car from the A1M take junction 45, off onto the A64, signposted York. Branch left onto the A1036, signposted York West. At traffic signals turn left onto the A1036, following signs to York / Inner ring Road. Follow signs for City Center & the station. Pass the station on your left and take next left at the traffic lights.
Park and Ride facilities are located at various points off the inner ring road towards York West, East and North on the A1036 and A64
