Safe Meeting

As the hospitality industry begins to welcome travellers back, here at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre we want to ensure that we are doing all that we can to provide guests and staff a safe, welcoming, and clean environment. CLEANLINESS IHG is launching a Clean Promise that will roll out globally in June. It will become a global brand standard, demonstrating IHG’s dedication to the updated measures and a clean stay. 


The Clean Promise - Within two hours after check-in, a guest will be able to let our hotel team know if their room does not meet the Clean Promise. We will confirm the issue and either make every effort to resolve it to the guest’s satisfaction in the current room or offer to move the guest to another room of equal or greater value that meets the Clean Promise. If another room is not available, we will work with the guest to make it right.
It will be an ongoing conversation as IHG continues to work closely with Cleveland Clinic and other partners to understand best practices and define solutions that meet the new health and safety expectations brought on by Covid-19



To give greater confidence when visiting the hotel, please see some of our improved procedures including: • Reduced contact at check-in/out • Touchless transactions • Personal protection screens • Sanitising stations – including sanitization of pens and key cards etc. • Increased cleaning of high touch point areas • Social distancing and information posters • One-way systems to reduce congestions • Increased bedroom cleaning including new laundry procedures • Improved cleaning procedures for Meeting space • Meeting room sanitising procedures introduced • And much more.
Throughout the hotel you will find social distancing guidance in situ, this is by way of posters, floor decals and wall vinyls as well as protection screens at check-in. Furniture has been reorganised or removed in all areas to allow for safe social distancing whilst moving around the hotel.
A one-way system has also been introduced in some key areas of the hotel to reduce the potential for congestion and to minimise risk. We will continue to follow the guidance issued by IHG, WHO and UK Government and make amendments to procedures where necessary. Whilst some elements of our Food & Beverage offering will be reduced, we have taken all the necessary precautions to ensure that we are able to provide a safe experience for our guests. You will find cutting edge meetings and events space at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre offering a high-tech flexible and innovative environment. Combining a stimulating conference & events space with an open breakout area offering direct access to the Canal side terrace all whilst ensuring social distancing
